Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is a part of the Piedmont Healthcare System. It serves Rockdale County, Georgia and the surrounding areas. With over 1100 employees─including physicians and healthcare professionals─and 138 beds, this hospital provides the only acute-care facility in Rockdale County. This build-out project adds a 21-bed medical and surgical unit with administrative offices and support areas.
Second-generation 24,680-square-foot interior build-out that included the demolition of existing HVAC systems and equipment. The project involved the installation of new HVAC controls systems, terminal units, ductwork, supplemental cooling systems and plumbing systems. A preconstruction survey was also used to test the basic operation and integrity of the equipment controls.
