McKenney’s was selected by Moses Cone Memorial Hospital as the mechanical partner for the Drawbridge Medical Center Project, a 100,000-square foot medical facility in Greensboro, North Carolina.  The team was involved early in the process, from the design narrative phase to construction. The project scope included building an ambulatory care space, an emergency department, imaging rooms, blood laboratory testing spaces, two pharmacies, an outpatient chemo treatment space, and an aquatics area.  

Although the project was built during Covid-19, the innovation and collaboration between the owner and the other partners resulted in the on-time and on-budget completion of this Integrated Project Delivery project (IPD).
