Description:
Automation specialists are required to test, validate and commission building HVAC, lighting and monitoring systems and components. Automation specialists should have a working knowledge of various system types including Electric/Electronic, Digital and Analog, and Direct Digital Control (DDC). Automation specialists develop, deploy, test and validate system program code according to the system design.

Experience Required:
• 4 years experience working in a building engineering or facility manager on communicating or networked electronic systems • Associates degree (or comparable vocational training) in related field • Must have a professional appearance. • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals • Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance. • Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others. • Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software • Must be a self-starter, with ability to work well as part of a team and independently • High school diploma or GED
