Controls and Automation Technicians will be required to program, test, validate, maintain and manage building HVAC, lighting and monitoring systems and components.  Typical components consist of Relays, Transducers, Sensors, Actuators, Automatic Dampers, Automatic Valves, Power Supplies, and so forth.  Technicians should have a working knowledge of various system types including Pneumatic, Electric/Electronic, Digital and Analog, and Direct Digital Control (DDC).  Technicians are expected to respond to system service outages, operational failures or calibration adjustments, scheduling issues etc.
