Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre

Inaugurated on September 15, 2007, the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre consists of the 2,700-seat John A. Williams Theater, a 10,000-square-foot ballroom, rehearsal and dressing rooms, and a 700-space parking deck. The Centre has received great acclaim for being designed and built to extremely stringent vibration and acoustical requirements, and now serves as the new home to the Atlanta Opera. In addition to sound and construction considerations, McKenney’s responsibilities included installing 11 custom AHUs, two 550-ton chillers, and a commercial kitchen.
