St. Joseph’s Hospital
Clinical Expansion

St. Joseph’s Hospital needed to expand and upgrade its emergency services facilities, and add state-of-the-art operating rooms to allow for new minimally invasive robotic cardiovascular surgeries.  As part of this project, McKenney’s was responsible for completing an 85,000-square-foot expansion of the existing hospital, including an emergency room area, cardiovascular operating rooms and MCI/CT scan facilities, as well as adding shell space and infrastructure for 120,000 square feet of patient care areas.  McKenney’s also redesigned the existing central energy plant, adding 2,000 tons of additional cooling capacity and upgrading multiple fuel oil systems.
