Village Hospital

The Village Hospital in Greer, South Carolina, is owned by Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and is advertised as “The Cure for Common Healthcare” with its luxurious hotel-like amenities and services. The facility is a full-service, 100,000-square-foot Greenfield hospital in which McKenney’s performed the complete HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems. The facility offers the total healthcare complement, including four state-of-the-art operating rooms, radiology, sterilization/decontamination, dedicated caesarian section OR, trauma, and full dining services. Custom-fabricated air-handling units and roof-mounted refrigeration and steam-generation equipment serve the facility. The project was successfully built using the design-assist method within a challenging 14-month time frame. The Village Hospital project is a continuation of our long-term relationship with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, with which we have worked since 2001, performing numerous new and renovation construction work directly for the hospital system.
